The Gidled Birdcage - a Beautiful Self Standing Aerial Rig
The Gilded Birdcage is a stunning event centrepiece for exquisite aerial performances. Decoratedwith beautifully intricate filigrees and standing at over four meters high, the Birdcage is an incredibly impressive focal point in even the largest of spaces and will transform any room intoa decadent and magical environment. Beautiful aerial starlets perform breathtaking routines whilst rotating in the cage and wowing guests from every angle.
This clever prop creates a completely self contained aerial performance space because the artists are suspended from rigging within it. This makes the Birdcage perfect for events which want aerial but do not have rigging within the venue.
The Gilded Birdcage is the perfect addition to any Wedding, Christmas party, Burlesque event or private party. We can accommodate to a large selection of themes such as Moulin Rouge, Fantasy, Winter Wonderland and Enchanted Garden.
Our costs are as follows:
For the cage with an aerial artist (most popular) the price is £1680 (excluding VAT) + 50p a mile from Bristol for travel.
For just the cage with no performer the price is £1200 (excluding VAT)+ 50p a mile from Bristol for travel.
For an additional aerialist the price is £500 (excluding VAT)
Each Aerialist will perform 4 x 10 minute sets of hangabout aerial.

The cage is approximately 2m diameter and 4.2m height. It collapses down completely so there
should not be a problem getting it into a venue unless it has particularly tight corridors with sharp
turns.
The largest “part” is a ladder just over 3m tall that is used to help set it up.
The cage requires two people to put it up and takes approximately 45 minutes to an hour – generally we would look to set it up before an event began. We can provide basic lighting and, if appropriate, a
sound system. For more festive events we can cover the entire cage in fairy lights/bunting/flowers/ivy.
The cage is not a toy and should only be used by the artists – this is rarely an issue at smaller
events but for larger crowds and events with children present, we request a barrier or member of
security present if the cage is easily accessible to the public.
We require a secure warm changing room for artists to get ready in and to relax in between sets.
For UK events we travel in a medium height MWB panel van. The vehicles length is 5 meters and the height is 2.5 meters. We will need suitable parking for this vehcle at the event and the ability to unload at the costume boxes at the venue at the very least if nearby parking is not possible.
Light refreshments to be provided throughout the day. Water is necessary. If we are on site for 5 or more hours we need a hot meal provided.
